Olivia Bucci, LCSW
Olivia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut where she received her Bachelor’s of Social Work degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in clinical work with individuals, groups and families.

Olivia specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults. She has in-depth experience working in elementary, middle and high schools where she collaborated with teachers and parents to support her clients to achieve socially, emotionally and academically. Additionally, during her time at Kids in Crisis and other agency settings, Olivia provided individual and group therapy to kids and teenagers as well as working with parents & families to strengthen the parent-child relationship.

Olivia has a deep understanding that each individual life and brain is complex and she tailors her therapeutic interventions to the unique needs of each of her clients. She uses a positive psychology framework in her therapy sessions with the children, teens and young adults she serves. She assists her clients in identifying and celebrating their strengths while simultaneously working on areas of growth.

Olivia draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic frameworks in her clinical work which focuses on an array of issues facing today’s youth including: ADHD, oppositional defiance, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, low self-esteem, social isolation, bullying, school avoidance and behavioral issues. Olivia meets every client with the utmost empathy to ensure that they feel safe, heard and secure in the therapeutic environment. She understands that self-reflection and self-growth takes courage and she is honored to serve her clients and families.
