Katherine is a skilled clinical therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Fordham University. Prior to her MSW, Katherine earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, where she developed a solid foundation in understanding human thought patterns and emotions.

As a clinical therapist, Katherine strives to create a safe and supportive environment for her clients. She tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, utilizing evidence-based interventions to promote personal growth, healing, and overall well-being. With warmth, empathy, and a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities, Katherine guides her clients on their journey towards self-discovery and positive change.

Katherine’s clinical experiences range from working at Silver Hill Hospital with patients struggling with addiction and mood disorders to providing individual and family therapy at the non-profit, Pathways. She has worked with patients going through major life-transitions, social & relationship issues, disordered eating and negative body image as well as with those struggling with depression and anxiety. Katherine is certified and currently providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a groundbreaking treatment that utilizes magnetic pulses to target the root causes of depression.

Katherine has worked with patients of all ages however her focus has narrowed in recent years to working with young adults, adolescents and children. She is able to seamlessly form relationships with her patients and their families which serves as the foundation of trust upon which growth occurs. Katherine believes in a wrap-around support model and collaborates with schools, psychiatrists, nutritionists and other providers to ensure her clients are getting the most comprehensive care. In her years of working, Katherine has cultivated an empathetic approach to treatment focused on the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. She believes in the power of therapy to transform lives and feels privileged to be a part of her clients’ personal growth and healing process.
